Historically I have always been a figurative artist; Over the past few years my love for the abstract has grown and my passion for painting led me to branch into two seemingly disparate styles. A particular Kandinsky piece sparked an artistic investigation into both the rigid and meticulous while I also dove into the fluid and nebulous. Currently working on both canvas and paper, the body of my work continues to explore inherently conflicting ways of communicating through color and shape.
