Currently, registered artists become members of the Jamaica Plain Arts Council automatically. Community members can also become members of the council. However, we haven't automated that part yet.

Become a Member! Or a Member Artist?

We would like everyone to be a member of the Jamaica Plain Arts Council. Artist or Art Lovin' Supporter, you can register as a member and you will be listed in our online directory.

As a member artist, you will also be able to register for JPOS when it opens. If you are not a member when you register for JP Open Studios, you will be after you complete your registration.

As a Art Lover member, you can also be listed, if you wish, in our online directory. You will also recieve invitations to our various functions and other tidbits as we put them together.a

Why become a member if I am not going to participate in Jamaica Plain Open Studios?

Members of the Jamaica Plain Arts Council help to steer the organization, help with events and other projects and get to make the big decisions that keep this organization lively and an intrical part of the community.
