Jamaica Plain, MA —On Sept. 26-27, from 11am-6 pm (Saturday) and 11am-6pm (Sunday), Jamaica Plain Open Studios (JPOS) returns!  

Organized by the Jamaica Plain Arts Council, JP Open Studios has been taking place annually for more than 30 years. JPOS offers a forum for artists, arts supporters, and local businesses to interact and make connections, to enhance and enrich appreciation of artists’ studios and their work.

This year’s event will showcase over 200 artists at more than 60 sites across the neighborhood. During this free, community-centered weekend, the art-loving public can meet artists, experience their studios, and enjoy and purchase artwork directly.

Interactive maps of artist sites can be found at www.jpopenstudios.com. Physical copies can be found at the information booth at JP Licks (659 Centre St.) as well as local businesses.

Be a part of our “The Artists of JPOS!” social media campaign. All images submitted within the guidelines will be featured. To participate, please complete the submission form HERE.

FYI: The JPOS 2026 Registration deadline was July 1st, 2026.

JPOS will still be accepting new registrations throughout the summer, but the deadline to be included in the JPOS 2026 map has passed.

Registered studio artists: We have several artists still looking for an inside show space. If you are interested in hosting a fellow artist, please let us know!
