- JPOS will still be accepting new registrations throughout the summer, but the deadline to be included in the JPOS 2026 map has passed.
- Registered studio artists: We have several artists still looking for an inside show space. If you are interested in hosting a fellow artist, please let us know!

Free Workshop Series for registered JPOS artists starting in July!
The deadline to register for the first Free Workshop has been extended to Monday, July 13th.
In this free Workshop series, join local artist and JP Arts Council volunteer, Anna Koon, as she shares tips and tools for making any type of art event a success. As a full-time JP artist with years of experience showing and selling her art, Anna will help you create your Open Studio strategy.
All skill and professional levels are welcome, and these events are free to artists participating in JP Open Studios 2026. Information regarding location and what to bring with you to the workshop will be provided. The workshops will include take-home materials for further review.
All artists must register in advance for the workshops. No walk-ins.

Join us for Create the Space for Creativity. With JP Open Studios only weeks away, it’s time to make some art! Wish you could find more time for creativity, find a space to create in, and find a way to maintain the creative spark? Discover new tools for better time and space management, along with helpful exercises for getting those creative juices flowing. All skill levels welcome: You just need to have a desire to incorporate more creativity into your life!

Designed to cater to any skill or professional level, this workshop is not only a great way to get ready for JP Open Studios, but also a forum to be exposed to a variety of methods you can use to share your art with the public. Meet other local artists while learning how to better manage the business side of your creativity. It will be informative, encouraging, and a lot of fun!
This workshop is perfect for artists who are fairly new at publicly displaying and selling their work, or for those who feel they could use some refreshers. The workshop will cover all you need to know to make any weekend art event a successful experience for both you and your customers. Time will be allotted for peer-based discussion, and Q&A, so that every artist can gain a personalized plan to prepare for JP Open Studios weekend.
There are two opportunities to attend this workshop: this in-person option on Sunday August 2 and a virtual option on Thursday, August 13th (listed below.) You just need to register in advance!

This workshop is perfect for artists who are fairly new at publicly displaying and selling their work, or for those who feel they could use some refreshers. The workshop will cover what you need to know to make any weekend art event a successful experience for both you and your customers. We will cover all you need to do to make the most out of exhibiting and selling your art. Time is allotted for tackling questions and concerns, so that each participant will have a personalized, confident strategy. It’s easy to participate in this virtual workshop!

How to determine prices for your work is a challenge for any artist. This workshop will cover strategies for easily developing a confident price range, knowing you are not overcharging or underselling. Participants will be introduced to several ways to go about pricing so that they can determine which methods work best for them. We will look at pricing from every angle so that each artist will gain confidence about pricing their work. Time will be allotted for peer-based feedback on pricing your artwork, and Q&A.

In this great follow-up to the pricing workshop (attending both is recommended, but not necessary), we will cover how to engage potential customers and successfully complete a sale. Knowing ways to confidently present your art to newcomers is important when it comes to succeeding as an artist. And knowing how to develop a lasting impression on your customers is your guarantee for success. In this interactive workshop, time will be designated for discussion and exercises. By the end of the workshop participants will have a strategy for how to sell both in-person or online.
